Three months, 12 weeks, one semester..

Time really flies, it has been a year since A-levels, and now it's the end of the first semester in school..

It was just less than half a year ago when I didn't even know where my future lies.. ( not that I'm clear right now, I'm still wondering whether I took the right course, I don't even know what a business student would work as.. apart from marketing... and I'm really bad at writing and talking which is suppose to be the trademark of business students....)

As the exam draws near, we are given more time to study on our own. Finally, a breather... I suddenly realize that I don't have friends that I can seek help from.. and I'm wondering how my social life is going to progress in Uni.. It's been a semester in school and strictly speaking, I don't feel connected to anyone.. Is it my brought up that's so different? Or is it that I'm finally living among the "Singaporeans" and not "foreigners" anymore??

A mere 12 weeks, aka 12 lessons for each module, less than 20 times you meet a person.. how does one make friends? We are so focused on getting the best grade we can, if you're lousy or you don't fit in, you get left out.... It's so different from JC when we had two years, taking our own sweet time to improve our grades and nurture our friendship along the way... I guess staying in hostel with your schoolmates does provide ample opportunities for one to spend time with others..

Come to think of it, I suppose work life is the same, maybe even worst... with 5.5 working days a week, minus the time with GF/BF/spouse, where would one be able to find time with friends? unless you're working in the same company....

Just a few days ago, a found an ex-classmate's blog, which kinda link me to a few other ex-classmates.. to think that they are actually still in touch although they are miles apart while me, staying less than an hour's journey from my friends, haven't talked or met up with each other just to catch up....

I promised myself not to visit blogger until my exams' over, but here I am...

...for one absurd reason (in my case, that is..)

Headache...

Very terrible headache...

Reason being:

I've been reading 4 biz law cases, figuring out the arguments ( law-ly terms are rights and liabilities, doctrines, acts, clauses, remedies... I don't want to continue this... I can't even think properly now...), reading the reports, and now I'm having a migraine...

Michelle having a migraine because of studying.. THIS IS SOOO ABSURD!! My mom wouldn't believe me if I told her this!!!

The last time I got this kind extreme headache was like.................

I wan to go shopping for dresses..

I wan to go makan real nice food..

I wan to play water in my swimming pool..

I wan to play in the arcade wit pk n sh.. ( throw balls ^.^)

Meaning--

Out of my five modules, two are over and done with...

Don't even know whether I should be happy... On one hand, I do not need to worry about so many modules anymore; on the other hand, I really dread knowing the results of these two modules. Reason being very simple, both are project-based modules which require writing reports, which I can't handle properly.

When I stared at my lappy, I was lost for a moment. Didn't know what to work on, the modules that took up like 70%of my effort was over..

I still have three more modules which uh, I haven't been touching!! *well duh, i've been preoccupied with the two project-based modules...*

Urgh... I juz hope my memory is good enough... or else i'm soooo dead...

haha.. finally i took the effort to change my template.. at least it looks better now... ^.^

or maybe i'll just put more post to push all the older ones into the archive..

When I accepted SMU's offer for my tertiary education, little did I know there was this "compulsory" event of completing 80 hrs worth of CIP before the course's over.... So guess what, my "summer holidays" consisted of collecting CIP hrs... while playing with sand.. =P
